Hawaii 2022

Hawaii (top)

Tyler hadn't been to Hawaii in 8 years. When he was younger we went quite often, but as he, Jordyn, and Connor got older we found it more difficult to find a time when we could go. Finally, when 2021 rolled around we thought we could make it out. We wanted to celebrate his high school graduation and Jordyn's college graduation. Unfortunately, that was at the height of the COVID pandemic and dashed all our hopes of going as a family. So, as we wait for a time when we can all fly out together again, Tyler was offered an opportunity to join his girlfriend Chloe's family on Maui. Chloe's uncle (Ty) lives on Maui and her grandparents own a condo in Kihei right across from the beach. Tyler jumped at the chance to go to the islands again especially if it meant he could go with Chloe.

And so ends, arguably, Tyler's best vacation ever. He couldn't stop talking about all the incredible meals he enjoyed. He also loved the island of Maui (where his great grandfather worked for many years as the Water Works Fiscal Officer of the County Board of Water Supply and later as the District Tax Administrator of the Maui County Office). The scenic vistas, the beaches, and the company were unforgettable. Most of all, Tyler was able to spend time with Chloe before they both head back to school.
