During Ski Week in February we decided to make a trip to Disneyland with the boys in the hopes the crowds wouldn't be so bad. Initially, we planned to include Jordyn by having her join us for the
weekend preceeding and including Washington's Birthday. Unfortunately, CPP doesn't observe Washington's Birthday anymore so, instead, we went Tuesday through Thursday. It was reasonably crowded but not
so bad that they had to turn away visitors. We probably didn't stand in any line for more than 40 or 45 minutes (except for Rise of the Resistance when the ride broke down for an hour and a half). We
really enjoyed ourselves this trip especially since the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge was completely open.

After waiting most of the day to be notified when to board, we entered the hidden Resistance base nearly 8 hours after we joined the virtual queue. Our waiting wasn't at an end however. Just as we
neared the front of the line the ride broke down for an hour and a half. Fortunately, we had our phones to pass the time. Ultimately, after a long day of anticipation we were able to ride one of the
grandest most immersive rides ever.

On our second day we gained early access to California Adventure. This was great because we were able to ride probably the 4 most popular rides in the park before general admission. We rode
Radiator Springs Racers, Toy Story, Incredicoaster, and Guardians of the Galaxy all in the first hour. With Fast Passes we were able to ride some of these rides again later in the day. A few hours
after lunch we headed back over to Disneyland.

Our last day in the parks was spent in Disneyland. We were determined to ride Rise of the Resistance again and found a way to use our early access despite using it the day before. This enabled us
to be in the park before 8:00am so we could join the virtual queue when it opened to the public. We found the area between Alice in Wonderland and Small World was where internet access was the best.
The moment 8:00am arrived we all tried to join a boarding group. Tyler was successful and got us in Boarding Group 63!
