Christmas 2024

This Christmas wasn't as jolly for Tyler as it usually is. After finals, Tyler went camping in Joshua Tree with his old roommates for a day before returning home. Unfortunately, he caught a pretty nasty cold. He didn't feel particularly bad except he had to constantly blow his nose. When Christmas Eve finally rolled around he decided he would stay home for fear of getting someone else sick. Deb decided she would keep him company and finish making the jook to help with his cold.

Christmas morning was the usual wake up and open gifts. Tyler got a couple t-shirts, Star Wars video game, Warriors blanket, Ewan McGregor signed Pop Funko, and new AirPods (his old ones would only hold a charge for 20 minutes). Christmas Day dinner was held at home, and Dad would bring Grandpa and Grandma down to eat with us. Grandma provided the clam dip while Mom made a prime rib with mashed potatoes and string beans. As always the food was scrumptious.
