The summer of 2018 was pretty busy. Unfortunately, we couldn't get away for any kind of vacation due to all our responsibilities. Connor had a summer math bridging class so he could enroll in Advanced Math in the 7th Grade. Tyler decided to take Geometry over the summer so he could enroll in Algebra 2 as a Sophomore. Mom and Dad were busy gearing up for Obon at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple, and Jordyn was working at Cal Poly Pomona over the summer in their IT Department. Once Obon came and went, there was a little down time for the boys before school started. With that in mind, Dad reserved a room at Circus Circus so the three of them could play games and eat buffet food. It was a quick trip, but they had fun. What surprised them the most was they played the ring toss game and came away with 3 huge prizes. They won 2 giant caterpillers and one giant pink pig. There was some concern they wouldn't be able to fit everything in the Pilot, but they found a way. When one considers how many times they've played this game over the years, it's amazing they came away with so many prizes in this one trip!
