Homestead Graduation 2017
Homestead High School Graduation
June 1, 2017
On Thursday, June 1, 2017, Jordyn graduated from Homestead High School. She, along with 600 of her classmates all walked on the HHS football field in front of
family, friends, and faculty. After a few introductions and speeches, the 2017 graduating class of Homestead High School received their diplomas. Right after
graduation, everyone met in the quad to congratulate each other and meet up with family members and friends.

Post-Graduation
Friends
Trying to find everyone after graduation was brutal. There were people everywhere. It took about 45 minutes to track down the people I saw. Even then, I still didn't find
everyone. Fortunately, Dad came with me so once I did find someone he took a quick picture.

Graduation Dinner
Faultline - Sunnyvale
I couldn't stick around after graduation to find all my friends because we had reservations at Faultline at 6:15. We couldn't be late or else they would give
our table to someone else. I guess getting reservations for dinner after graduation was no easy task. Everywhere was booked. Fortunately, we made it just in the nick of time.

Grad Night
Great America
It was really important to eat dinner when we did. I had to be back at Homestead no later than 8:30 so I could catch the bus to Great America for Grad Night. Normally,
it wouldn't be an issue but we were in the heart of Silicon Valley and traffic around dinner time is always nuts. Fortunately, the wait staff at Faultline was really
accommodating. We ordered quickly and they brought the food out in no time. All told, we spent about 5 hours at Great America before we headed back to
Homestead for breakfast and hanging out by a bunch of camp fires. I was tired so Dad picked me up about 5:00 am to go home. Some of my friends stayed until the
sun came up. What a great graduation.
