Well, last year we thought Jordyn played her final season as a Tri-City player. However, as it turns out, Jordyn did play a little
more for Tri-City this season. She practiced with Coach Warren's team, and played in the CYS pre-season tournament and also
participated in the Tri-City/Warriors Play Where the Warriors Play event. Tri-City has been a wonderful experience for Jordyn where
she learned to play basketball the right way and where she also made life-long friendships. Now, it's on to high school basketball
where she made the Homestead JV team.
The weekend of Novemeber 2, 2013, before Jordyn was officially named to the Homestead JV team, she played in her final CYS
Tournament at Buchser Middle School in Santa Clara. This was her only chance to play with these teammates in a real game situation.
It's a shame she couldn't have stayed on with this team. They were very good and would have been very competitive with any team they
faced.

Tri-City/Warriors Day
Saturday, November 23, 2013 was the first ever "Tri-City/Warriors: Play Where the Warriors Play" event. Every current Tri-City basketball
player was asked if they wanted to participate in a scrimmage with other Tri-City players on the floor of the Oracle Arena. This is the very
same floor where Steph Curry makes countless 3's, Harrison Barnes reverse dunks, and Klay Thompson scores at will. It was a once in a
lifetime event. Balanced teams were assembled and every TC player who showed up got 8 minutes to play where the Warriors play.

Jordyn no longer plays Tri-City basketball because she made the Homestead High School JV Girls team. She's on a team with 14
other girls. Some, she played middle school basketball with, and some she played with for Tri-City. So far, she's finding the 6-days
a week practices challenging and the speed tough to keep up with. Still, she's having fun, and she loves being on a team with great
players. You won't find another team with players who are more supportive of one another.
Jordyn had a break out game on 1/24/14 against Los Altos High School. In her second start at point guard this season, Jordyn scored 16 points
(4 3-pointers and 2 2-pointers). Prior to this, she had been looking for her shot that had been eluding her since the start of the regular season.
After some practice just focusing on shooting, she has seemingly found it again. Hopefully, she can keep it up.

Jordyn hits her second 3 from about the same place (1/24/14).
Jordyn's final game of the season was against unbeaten Saratoga. Although Homestead ultimately lost, Jordyn did make a 3 pointer to rally the team.

Here's a picture from the Homestead HS newspaper. No Jordyn, but Ran is in the upper right-hand corner.
The End of the Season Banquet was on Saturday, April 26 at Sweet Tomatoes in Sunnyvale. Most of the team was there and enjoyed salads, soups, muffins,
pizza, pasta, and ice cream. Also, team awards were presented. Jordyn was presented with a participation certificate, Best Offensive Player Award,
Scholar/Athlete Award, and All-League Award. It was a perfect ending to a great season!
