In September of 2012, Jordyn began her final year in Tri-City Basketball. She's coached by Coach Bryan who has coached
her, off and on, since the 2nd Grade, Coach Bob, and Coach Cori. She's also joined by good friends Cher (who she has
played with since 2nd Grade) and Misa (who she's played with since 3rd Grade). Rounding out the team are Arielle, Christene,
Elizabeth, Kasey, and Natalie. Tri-City gave Jordyn the opportunity to learn how to play basketball from some
outstanding coaches and play with great teammates who have become life-long friends.
At the beginning of every season, CYS holds their annual basketball tournament. In Jordyn's third game (11/4/12), Jordyn had a break-out game scoring 14 points.
She hit 4 two-pointers and 2 three-pointers. Her team won 45-39. Thank you Linda for the awesome videos!
On Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, before Tri-City league games began, Jordyn participated in the first ever SMS Blue Chip Classic. This fundraiser basketball
game was sponsored by AMD (computer chip maker) to give back to the community. AMD generously granted $500 to Sunnyvale Middle School, and
any other funds generated during the event went directly to the school as well. It was a very festive event with many people in attendance. What made this most
memorable for Jordyn was the fact she was the only girl player on either team. She did herself proud though by swishing her first 3-point attempt to thunderous applause. All in all, very cool.
Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 was my last Tri-City Christmas Party as a player. It's been an amazing ride playing for Tri-City! I learned a lot about basketball and it helped keep
me in shape. Most of all, I made life-long friends who I will always treasure.

Last summer, Jordyn participated in the Mountain View High School Spartans Sports Camp. This winter during the holiday break right after Christmas, MVHS conducted
another similar camp that ran for 4 consecutive mornings. This camp was really fun because good friend Cher came along too. Both were surprised on the first day when
another friend Caitlyn was also in attendance. To make matters even more fun, Rachel (who was a participant in the summer camp) was a coach for this camp!
Basketball fun.
Photographic proof that Cher does drive to the basket.
On Wednesday, December 19, 2012 Jordyn started her final season of Girls Basketball at Sunnyvale Middle School. Most of her teammates have
played with her since they were on the 6th Grade team together. What's also great about middle school basketball is Jordyn gets to play against
many of her Tri-City teammates who play on their school's teams.

On Sunday, February 17, 2013 Jordyn had, arguably, one of her finest games in league play against the CYS Swag-9. She helped her team
to a 29-27 win by scoring 13 points. She led all scorers by hitting three 3-point shots and two 2-pointers.
