VACATIONS (top)

Spring Break 2013 was a little different this year. Jordyn went with about 50 of her classmates to Washington DC. This left Tyler, me, Mommy, and Daddy with a week by ourselves. We decided to make a trip to Legoland since we hadn't been there in a few years. The first day was a little wet but it turned nice in the afternoon. The second day was nice all day. We had a great time riding all the rides (I love the Lego Technic Coaster and Lost Kingdom Adventure)! Best of all was staying at the Legoland Hotel! In the end, we had a ton of fun and wished we could have stayed longer.
We arrived on Sunday afternoon. We didn't have any plans to visit the park. All we wanted to do was settle in. Fortunately, there was plenty to do at the new Legoland Hotel. The lobby had a huge Lego pit where we could build anything we wanted using thousands of Lego pieces. There was also a huge Lego castle with thousands more Lego pieces on tables to build with. Upstairs in our room Tyler and I had our own room with a bunkbed and tv! To top it all off, there was a treasure chest with Lego mini figures inside!

Monday morning was drizzly. The entire park was wet and damp. Fortunately, the forecast for the afternoon was bright and sunny. If we could get through the morning we would be golden for the rest of the day. Anyway, just like the weather man said, the afternoon was sunny and pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We drove Legoland cars, drove a boat, pumped a fire engine to put out a fire, and visited Miniland. Awesome!

Tuesday started out much better than the day before. It was sunny and we could tell the park would be busier. We started out on the Sky Cruiser. From way up there we could see the entire park. Next, we drove the Legoland cars again and went back to the Fun Town Police and Fire Academy. We played miniature golf and then tried out Hideaways where we climbed ropes and slid down slides. After that we rode the Dragon and the Lego Technic Coaster again. After lunch we built robots at the Hero Factory and cars at Build and Test. We did the boat cruise, toured the rest of Miniland, checked out Sealife Aquarium, and rode Safari Trek to end the day. This was a great two and a half days! I wish we could have stayed longer.
