Basketball
2014-2015
Connor is in his second year of instructional basketball at Tri-City. He's learning alot this year, and we're hoping he'll gain confidence
in his abilities to both handle and shoot the ball.

The first Instructional Jamboree this season was held by CYS at Buchser Middle School in Santa Clara. Connor showed remarkable
perseverance in each game. Being the smallest player on either team puts him at a distinct disadvantage, but he found a way to play tough defense and score a pair of buckets. We're so very
proud of him!

Connor gets an offensive board and then puts it back for his second bucket in Game 2 (1/17/15)!
Connor's final Jamboree of the season was on Saturday, February 21, 2015. This Jam. was hosted by Tri-City and gave everyone a good idea how far
these players have come since the beginning of the season. It was great to see the improvement and teamwork in a real game situation. Even better was Connor made two shots! He made a bucket in both games he
played in!

Connor's team dinner was held at Chevy's in Mountain View on Sunday, March 1 right after practice. Everyone feasted on beef and chicken soft
tacos, quesadillas, sweet cornmeal, tamales, fruit, brownies, and candy! At the end of the party, Coach Greg and Coach Jason gave gifts to all the players. I don't know who had a better time, the players
or families.

About a week after the official team dinner at Chevy's in Mountain View, most of the Instructional 3rd Grade Boys headed up to Sacramento to
participate in the Betsuin Tournament. While Connor didn't play, he did catch up with the team to have dinner at El Torito's Saturday night (3/7/15). It was fun hanging out with his fellow teammates, and the
parents had a great time talking and lamenting the fact the season is at an end.
