Basketball
2013-2014
After years of watching Jordyn and Tyler play Tri-City basketball, it was finally Connor's turn. In September of 2013, Connor laced up
his basketball shoes and took to the court. His coach is the same coach both Jordyn and Tyler had when they started in the second grade - Coach Irv. So far, there has been great improvement in
Connor's game. He hits the rim consistently and every once in a while he'll make a bucket. He's trying hard, but being the smallest kid on the team can be difficult at times. Still, he perseveres and, hopefully, he'll
come to love the game as much as his older sister and brother.

Tri-City/Warriors Play Where the Pros Play
11/23/13
On Saturday, November 23, 2013, Connor and the rest of the Tri-City Youth Group had the opportunity to play at the Oracle
Arena - home court of the Golden State Warriors. It was a great time had by all. While Connor didn't make any baskets, he did take some shots. He also dribbled around a lot. We're so proud
of him. There aren't too many 7 year olds who can say they played on the same court as Steph Curry!
Where'd everybody go? |
It sure is lonely playing the low post. |
Man, they'll let anyone ref these games.
This is actually one of several shots Connor took.

On Saturday, February 15, 2014, Connor made his first points of the season! During the first half of his first game, Connor
got a pass on the right side baseline. He tried to take the shot but got fouled in the process. He went to the line and proceeded to make both his free throws! We were so happy and proud!
