Connor's Eighth Birthday
Connor's 8th Birthday was celebrated on 3 different days. The first day was at school on Friday, Sept. 19th. That was the designated day to
celebrate all September birthdays. As luck would have it, Connor was the only student in his class to be born in the month of September. Everyone in
his class sang Happy Birthday to him, and then he handed out snacks and stickers to all his classmates. The second day of celebration was on Friday,
September 26th. On Connor's actual birthday (Saturday), there were many things scheduled around dinner time, so we decided to have his birthday
dinner on Friday. A favorite of the family's for birthday dinners, it seems, is always Red Robins. Connor had mac and cheese with mandarin oranges
and a chocolate shake. The wait staff also sang Happy Birthday and presented him with a birthday sundae. Finally, on Saturday, September
27th, Connor got to open presents in the late morning and then have cake after dinner. This was probably the longest birthday celebration on record.
