Basketball
2012 - 2013
In September of 2012, Tyler started his first season of league basketball. The D-American division is comprised of 4th and 5th Grade boys. Of all the
transitions from one division to the next, the move from instructional basketball to D-American is the toughest. Tyler has found that out the hard way as he is
one of the smaller players on his team. None the less, Tyler perseveres and tries his hardest to help his team in any way he can. In his first game of the season,
Tyler found his way into the scorebook by making a free throw after getting fouled. Hopefully, that's the first of many points he will score this season.
2012-2013 Basketball!
On Sunday, January 27, 2013, Tyler and his team headed up to San Francisco to play Taisho. This was a break out game for Tyler who scored six points (a
season high for him). Two buckets came on passes down court while he waited under the basket. The other basket was a set shot from the right side. His Tri-City team went on to win 33-14.

On Sunday, February 17, 2013, Tyler completed his first season of league basketball in the D-American division for Tri-City. This final game had Tyler
scoring 3 points by making a free throw and sinking a 2-pointer from just inside the key. We're all very proud of Tyler as he dealt with being one of the smallest
players on the court no matter who we played. Next season, we hope he scores even more and, maybe, grows a little bit.
